Description
TITLE: "Blessing Or Curse : You Can Choose"
AUTHOR: Derek Prince
Freedom From Pressures You Thought You Had To Live With
Do you know what forces are influencing your life from day to day ?
Are you continually frustrated by sickness, financial pressure, strained relationships ? Or perhaps accidents happen to you or your family with perplexing regularity. Do you wonder why some people seem to get more than their share of success and fulfilment ?
Derek Prince suggests that two forces are at work in life : blessings and curses. One is beneficial, the other harmful. To enjoy the benefits of God's blessings and be protected from curses, we need to understand how these forces work.
Derek Prince shows dramatically that a curse is not a superstition from the Dark Ages. He draws on real life experiences of people who were astonished to discover that they were not victims of blind chance - or even heredity. Rather, the problem was a curse that might have originated in a previous generation.
Derek Prince shows you how to recognise a curse at work in your life and helps you find release and God's blessings.
About the AUTHOR:
DEREK PRINCE (1915 - 2003) was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied several modern languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
While serving with the British army in World War II, he began to study the Bible and experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Out of this encounter he formed two conclusions: first, that Jesus Christ is alive; second, that the Bible is a true, relevant, up-to-date book. These conclusions altered the whole course of his life, which he then devoted to studying and teaching the Bible.
He is the author of over 50 books, many of which have been translated and published in more than 100 languages.
